TIP: The Network Graph visualization supports undirected and directed graph structures. This type of visualization illuminates relationships between entities.
- A network is a collection of points, called vertices, and a collection of lines, called arcs, connecting these points. In this tool you are able to generate a network graph from a data frame. Support you have several columns and each one is consisted from the name of several points, then you have select the original column and destination column, this means first column have a relation to second column, however, the opposite may not hold. This is very important when there are direction when you draw your network graph, which means first column have a way to second column, but the opposite may not be true.
- In addition, we also provided some other options, such as add vertex name which included change name size, change name location, and change color of name, and add arrow to the network graph. You are also able to change vertex size and line or arrow size.
- Here is the option I use to plot the picture above. (You can get the dataset from /Get Data Now -> Load dataset -> network.txt)
